Rules for describing experience in a resume

The description of your experience in a resume should be consistent and readable.

For example:

Network administrator: CJSC "Romashka", Moscow (2000-2005).

Highlight each place of work from the new line indicating the position, name of the organization, city, country (if necessary) and period of work.

We recommend that you do not indicate in your resume a job with a period of several months, as this may highlight and draw the attention of employers to any gaps in your area of ‚Äč‚Äčemployment.

Below for each job indicate the duties performed. Especially emphasize your achievements and positive results.

Thus, a typical description in a resume of your previous job might look like this:

Marketing Director: OJSC "XXXXXXX", St. Petersburg (2003-2008)

Participation in the development of advertising and marketing strategy, planning of advertising campaigns and advertising budget, implementation of advertising and marketing activities, evaluation of their effectiveness

Organization of the advertising and marketing department

Organization of press conferences and presentations

Recent graduates from universities, colleges and schools should be noted:

If you do not have much experience, make this section of the resume in such a way as to get the most out of your education. For example: indicate the list of disciplines and course projects (if any) that are most appropriate for the position you are applying for.
